Lifetime free traffic monitoring ; 3D ; bluetooth ; easy to navigate menus if you are familiar with gps devices, if not, the menus could be confusing. The ability to make and receive phone calls and sms msgs through the R700 is a definate plus
Fatal error displays in navigation mode if mini SD card not inserted (directions don't mention this) ; difficult to transfer files to the mini SD ; no printed manual ; no dashboard mount although the window mount works well
Traffic update is cool
Overall great GPS product. Looks nice and it's not that "common" so your friends will give you the eye like...Asus GPS? every time they ride my car...kind of cool.
Got this unit as a gift and literally worked out of box. Was able to get the traffic update working here in LA and San Diego area, pretty cool feature. Also linked with my cell phone on the first attempt.
Battery life is not as long as I have expected, but it has AC adapter and in fact this GPS is a lot slimmer than most of 4.3"" I have seen.
