The NVX226 has a known software problem that requires the buyer to return the unit upon purchase. It doesn't recognize the state of Louisiana. They only have one technician that is able to work on the units. It took 3 weeks for my unit to be returned...

Could be a great buy if it delivered what it promised

Price, incredible map Detail, Ease of use, good timing on voice commands, great situational awareneess, Reliability, Touchscreen, intuitive, thin size, comes with all the "stuff", good Lion battery

could use a contrast adjustment, and a boost for noon day use. Once when I touched the "about" screen, it shut fully down requiring a cold restart.... otherwise fine
