Back Packing Essential

 

I hiked the Pacific Crest Trail late in the season alone and purchased this for insurance in not getting lost. I placed new Lithium Ion batteries in it the night before and with very little time to get familiar with it. I hiked 9.5 miles the fisrt day....

This is a great GPS for hiking and geocacheing. Don't let the small size of the screen fool you, the resolution when using the easily downloaded Satellite imagery is excellent. When navigating to a typed in latitude and longitude, the unit consistently...

Simple but very effective

 

This is a very nice, very basic GPS unit that is fairly easy to use. I use it while hiking and biking as well as just out and an about on long walks. What sold me on this unit is that with a little bit of work and some web savvy you can find free maps...

Small size, takes AA bateries, can find free maps for it

Relatively easy to use. The set up is easy. If you want a dummy proof gps spend the extra mone and get the one that you can down load all your maps etc ahead of time.This product has... Easy menusAbout me... Parent with kids, Use for outdoor activities...

I got this gps to replace a garmin etrex legend wich I like very much. Very good gps got me where i was going located the caches without a problem never lost sat signal garmin etrex legend lost sat in heavy cover. kind of hard to see the screen in sun...

fast sat locck on very accurate get you within 10 feet or less
