My wife had an old Sky Caddie that she intended to replace with a newer model. I purchased the G5 for her as a surprise and she loves it. It works great and as an added benefit, there is no annual fee.

Unfortunately the watch can not handle different parts of the world. If you buy the US/Ca version it can not be used in Europe, and if you buy the European version it can not be used in US/Ca.

The Garmin Approach is pretty cool, and at $250 it's a bit expensive, but it's the best option out there if you don't want to lug around a hand held GPS.
