For Cycling Geeks, Garmin's Edge 800 Is Must-Have...

Does Garmin's latest bike computer spew too much data? If you're a geeky cyclist, the answer is, hell no!

Quick, easy to set up. Bright color touchscreen. Intuitive user interface. World-class navigation functionality and oodles of performance metrics

We're living in a golden age of touchscreens. Should this one have a pinch-and-zoom function

Garmin Edge 800

The Garmin Edge 800 is Garmin's latest cycling GPS, updating recent models with a touchscreen interface, and the ability to load Garmin custom maps and BirdsEye imagery. Having used both touch screen and traditional devices extensively on my mountain...

Edge 800

Although the Garmin Edge 800 still has a couple bugs that need to be worked out of it, it is a choice product that we found many users would never part with. We recommend reading the manuals before taking this product for a ride. Garmin has an...

Fantastic Cycling GPS

Virtual partner is a great training tool, the elevation graph is nice to have to know when you should conserve energy for upcoming climbs and the turn-by-turn directions is really nice especially when you don't have the time to focus on the GPS

The screen brightness could be a little better and the resolution is a bit poor given cel phones that have a much better screen resolution

Not cheap, but it's the ultimate cycling accessory

Garmin Edge 800 review

Garmin has a serious cycling pedigree, its team Garmin-Cervelo being one of the best in this years Tour De France. The company has a range of dedicated bike mountable satnavs designed to get you from A to B when out on two wheels.

Well designed and logical navigation system, accurate, good battery life

Touch response slow, sluggish at finding satellites

Pretty much as good as it gets on the bike satnav front, but you pay a price for the technology

Garmin Edge 800 review

The Edge 800 is Garmin's latest and greatest satnav for cyclists. It's a formidable device and, although the price will make even hard-core riders baulk, it's packed with features.

It isn't cheap, but this cycling computer and satnav will ensure you get where you're going without faffing around with a paper map. It will also help you get fit too

Garmin Edge 800

Garmin's cycle GPS comes complete with a touchscreen, but is it useful on the road?

A responsive, useful touchscreen, fantastic performance and a reasonable price - this is an excellent cycle GPS.

Garmin Edge 800 GPS Cycle Computer
