Garmin Edge 200 review

Before I got into GPS I used cyclometers to tell me how far I had gone on my mountain bike, which was very helpful when a trail description said something like “watch for hidden trail on left after 3.2 miles!” They worked surprisingly well, although...

Highly recommended. This is an excellent device for someone who doesn’t need or isn’t quite ready for a GPS navigator. It is an excellent alternative to a traditional cyclometer, with a lot of advantages in terms of setup, accuracy and the fact that it...

Buy One

If you own a bike and are considering an odometer/GPS of any sort, this is a good buy. The battery lasts forever, it can track a couple riders, has the ability to connect to computer to upload rides via Garmin Connect, and has a backlight. It's just a...

Not too bad

This works pretry well. I was pretty surprised. I do wish it came with a better bike mount but other than that, this is exactly what I was looking for.

Good for for the first device

This device works pretty well. I'm surprised that it does not come with a better bike mount. If you want the better bike mount, Garmin offers one for $40.

I am not a professional cyclist, so I dont need a monitor that does too much. It gives me all the info I need. And I can easily download all the info on my strava account. It is also very useful having the automatic start, that knows when I am on the...

A little slow to get the satellite link to start with but then OK. Otherwise does as it says on the tin - a great product if you dont need heart rate monitor, which i keep separate as i use the same for running.

Perfect Buy for a Cycling Statistician (And Everyone Else)

Garmin Edge 200 GPS Cycle Computer Introduction Until March this year, I hadn't cycled for about 8 years and so I thought it was time to start cycling again for general fitness as well as being able to save a bit of money at the same time. I bought my...

Battery life, features, weight, look and feel, easy to use

Great Value for money unit !

I purchased this Garmin unit really just to give me basic Speed and Distance measurements. I liked the fact that this is all achieved via GPS rather than have to fit up wheel sensors on the bike. The unit fits neatly to the bike (I mounted it on the...

Syncs with Satellites quickly, Unit provides so much more functionality than what I needed, Build quality, Price

Would like time of day display on the screen whilst riding
