OK unit, but neads Flash Memory

USB connectivity it the greatest selling point. But with the usage of GPS Utility http://www.gpsu.co.uk/ the ease of compatability is realized. It's a free download. Ability to convert between datum on the fly, as well as place georeferenced image as a...

Great new Features, USB

Waypoint numbers only 500

Great GPS for all kinds of fun

This is a big jump from my etrex legend and more memory makes it really nice. I do alot of geocaching and there is a really cool function in the unit for geocaching and it makes it nice. The usb makes map loading much more faster for sure

The Games are not very fun at all I did not think. The price of the unit is up there as well. THe major thing that i think would be nice to have is to be able to hook up a external Antennae hook up. over all i am very happy with this unit and I give it tw

nice, but useless

same as the other etrex ones. flashy color screen

no way to hook it up to the computer without using proprietary software. Big disappointment - no way to move my waypoints to the new device. look for mine on craigslist, I'll be dumping it there

A major, major upgrade from Etrex Vista

The awesome, bright, very high-resolution screen is a major improvement from the old b&w screens. Also, the processor appears to be much faster than the Vista b&w, so moving across the maps goes much quicker. Feature-wise, the Vista-C has virtua

It's time for Garmin to add a slot for flash memory to all its products, not just the Ique. It's the one ***** in an otherwise very formidable armor

Very Good Successor of Vista

Color display, better handling, far better backlight, faster maps download via USB

Data fields on the top of display should be smaller, they partially block the map

Way better than ETrex Vista (without C)

Compared to eTrex Vista, infinitely easier to read than monochrome screen; much much faster downloading of maps via USB port; much faster map re-drawing; much better satellite reception (it even works indoors in wood-frame houses!); longer battery life

Screen is wider but not as tall as eTrex Vista, and data fields at top of map page have huge numbers/letters, so a lot of screen space is lost; USB connection is a nightmare for Mac/Virtual PC users like me (but it actually does work with Mac OS 9 / VPC
