Garmin Forerunner 15 and 220 reviews: Lightweight and powerful fitness and life tracking

Garmin recently rolled out updates to its low and mid-range line of fitness watches. One integrates life tracking while the other adds smartphone connectivity.

I really like the idea behind the Garmin Forerunner 15 and I think it was a good move for Garmin to make the product. However, I am disappointed in the lack of Bluetooth to sync to my phone; a feature that you can find in their Vivofit and other...

Garmin Forerunner 220 Review

The $249 Garmin Forerunner 220 not only records many of the metrics that are most important for runners, but also can sync wirelessly and connect with an external heart monitor. Overall, it's an excellent running companion.

Syncs via Bluetooth ; Bright, easy-to-read display ; Connects with heart rate monitor ; Water resistant

App doesn't convert miles into steps ; Bluetooth syncing can occasionally be finicky

The Garmin Forerunner 220 is a very capable midpriced GPS watch for runners that syncs workouts with your smartphone.

Garmin Forerunner 220 Review: Solid Running Watch With a Pretty Face

Garmin has been at this running-watch thing for a while. Most recently, the Forerunner 10 was the company's best attempt at a simple, easy-to-read watch, but,

while I realise Fitbit is not what I want, I got my new smart watch Garmin forerunner. The most important key about smart watch is the batter life. It lasts about a week without using GPS to navigate the activities but heart rate sensor all the time. I...

Garmin Forerunner 220

Lightweight and packed with features. Locks on to the GPS signal quickly and the battery life is impressive.

The GPS automatically turns on every time you enter the menu. Would prefer it to come on only when I start a run (to preserve battery life).

Nice and light on your wrist and looks good too the Bluetooth link with a smart phone is a great feature too!

I'm a keen cyclist too and have a bike sensor which isn't compatable even though it's a garmin one :-( why let you pair a foot pod but not a bike sensor???
