When you're out running, you shouldn't lose track of where you're going. That can be tough, though, when you hit the sidewalk in a new town. The Garmin Forerunner 301 is more than just a heart-rate monitor: It also tracks distance, speed, pace, and...

Garmin Forerunner 301 Review

Now I go at outdoor activities fairly aggressively, but I consider myself an explorer, not an athelete in training. And while the Forerunner was a lot of fun, it is best suited for those wanting to track their heart rate and performance. It is not a...

Mini-Review: Garmin Forerunner 301 Wrist-Top GPS/heart rate monitor

I do a bit of running, but was sick for the month I had the Garmin Forerunner 301 to review; so, I had my fitness buff coworker, Morgan Fanberg from the Fanberg Report, give it a go, and he was quite impressed with it. The Garmin Forerunner 301 on my

Garmin Geko 301 GPS receiver

The Garmin Geko 301 is one of the smallest and lightest GPS navigation devices that still comes with plenty of features, decent memory capacity and is easy to use. The unit can't show maps, but it lets you plan your route, shows you the direction to...

Love this product

If you are just starting off working out or are a buff at the subject, this is a must get!

All of the features on this device actually make it fun to use

It is starting to age in terms of product line, but still is awesome. Also, it is a little big compared to other devices, but I think you get more to view though as a result

Heart Rate Monitor doesn't cut it.

Buy a used one for bike rides taking less than 10 hours. Can also function well as a pedometer and has a fair map function.

Great for Biking with optional carrier

Poor battery life and terrible heart rate monitor

Love my Garmy

I had to add some kind words for my constant running buddy. I got my FR 301 in late April (for ~$150) and use it on every run. This is the only personal GPS trainer I have used, but I used a top of the line Trimble backpack (~$10,000 with all the bells...

Easy to use, accurate enough for my purposes...Data, love data, and it really helps me with my pacing

A bit large and clunky, USB cover seems a little flimsy. Program and maps are a bit outdated
