New: Garmin GPSMAP376C - Hints of things to come?

Garmin introduced yet another GPS receiver today, after a rocking week last week where they introduced 6 other devices. This is not exactly a low end, plain old consumer targeted device though, but could signal a direction of things to come for new...

Does it all

Take it on the water and use it as a fish finder as well as navigate to your fishing spot. Watch the weather via the xm weather system while you are on the water. Back at the truck and search for a restraunt on the way home. What more do you need

Useless GPS unit out of the box.

i found that after paying close to $1000 bucks I would get a good navigation unit for atleast the marine part that they advertise it for. The base maps, as they call it, are about as useful as a one legged soccer team. You have to BUY more maps to get...

Great for Boaters & Drivers!

This is great for those who need a multi-use GPS. Wonderful for those nooks and crannies on the lake, and also for getting where you need to go!

Good with exceptions

Good with exceptions

Great having the XM feature and other options. Problems were with power cord (on third) and battery (dies deader than dead). Having to buy maps was a problem but great for both car/truck and boat.
