GPS, GPSMAP 478, INCLUDES UNIT,MOUNT

Better instructions - more visual aids such as flow diagrams and decision trees would be helpful in navigating the instrument. I was very pleased with the ordering process and service from PC Nation and would definitely consider using you again.

Fairly compact device with tremendous capability. Works well as a marine navigational tool and as a highway map and route device. 12v plug with microphone works very well. While the price is high the capability and versatility of the device justifies...

There is a downside . . .

While the 478 is a powerful GPS, there is a downside. Battery life is very short and the repacement batteries are expensive. If I had it to do over, I'd buy Magellan.
