nice garmin, read the book.

I didn't buy it in this particular bundle; I bought mine (from Newegg for about a hundred bucks) with lifetime map updates at no additional cost.

This is a handy unit to have, there are many ways to customize the way it helps you. I would urge you to thumb through the book if it gives you any grief, such as the previous poster. There is a way to set it, as to avoid toll roads, and highways ;...

The touch screen isn't as sensitive as my last model of garmin. Otherwise, it's a great little unit. I removed one egg for this, and the ungainly-ness of their fuel consumption software

I give up - switching brands

We will switch back to the competitors brand and never purchase Garmin again. The software to us seems flawed.

worked fine until it didn't!

Purchased the nuvi 1300 lmt in August, for a trip to the east coast during September. On the trip, after having it work fine for 8 days, it suddenly refused to acquire satellites. Then after a day or two of that, it worked again, but only for 1 day....

So far, no problems

This is the second Nuvi I've owned, and so far, I am very happy with it. Downloading new maps takes quite a while - it was over 1GB of info (a lot for my little DSL line) but the registration and download process was very easy.
