Budget car GPS

The Garmin nuvi 1350T is an inexpensive navigator with everything you really need, experts say -- plus a healthy dose of extras like lane assist and free traffic alerts for the life of the unit (it comes with pop-up ads, but most sources say they're...

Free lifetime traffic alerts, pedestrian/public transit navigation, lane assist

Some owners complain of routing problems, traffic, lane assist only in certain cities, pop-up ads, no Bluetooth, no multi-point routing

Review: Garmin Nuvi 1350T GPS device

An excellent choice for a slim, value-packed 4.3-inch navigator without Bluetooth.

Maps account for the major difference between these two. Whereas the 1370T comes preloaded with maps for the U.S., Canada, and Europe, the 1350T lacks the European maps. The 1350T is upgradeable with maps for Europe for $100, but if you are planning a...

Garmin nuvi 1350T review

The Garmin nüvi 1350T is a mid-range unit in a recently introduced line of Garmin GPS navigators, offering lane assist and lifetime traffic. All of the new units in the 1200, 1300 and 1400 series come with customizable data fields and the ability to...

As with the entire nuvi series, I expect that most buyers will be quite happy with the 1350T. If lane assist, the ability to customize the map display, or use of CityXplorer maps is important to you, I highly recommend this unit. Otherwise, you may...

Garmin Nuvi 1350T

The Nuvi 1350T is a solid choice among navigation GPS units, with a good mixture of included and downloadable features that will make sure you get to any destination. Drawbacks with this particular unit include the lack of voice recognition and...

The easy-to-use interface makes for a short learning curve

Some users will miss having a voice recognition feature

This unit will get you safely to any destination, but lacks a few of the features we were looking for, like voice recognition and Bluetooth capability.

Garmin Nuvi 1350T review

One of the challenges of buying a GPS navigation device is to figure out just which set of features you want. The other is deciphering the differences between models in a satnav product line - in this case, trying to work out the difference between the...

The Garmin Nuvi 1350T is an excellent choice for a slim, value-packed 4.3in navigator without Bluetooth.

Did the job . . . with some problems

I've used the Garmin Nuvi 1350 GPS for a month, including a road trip through the west coast states and Canada. Pros: - GPS works well most of the time - I found it easy to follow with clear voice annunciation of upcoming turns. The GPS did "get lost"...

This is one ugly machine. Don't buy it.

The first time I used this we wanted to get from Boston to a North Shore coastal town. Instead of leading us north, then east on Interstates, which would have taken about 80 minutes, it routed us through every congested little town between Boston and...

Big screen. Some traffic reports. Voice directions

Not programmed to take into consideration traffic congestion in my area. Voice directions are often unintelligible and at times pronunciation is ludicrous. One cannot rely on it to get you from here to there quickly and with minimum hassle

Upgrade from a Tom Tom 720 Go

I do like this GPS, and am sure it will fit my needs. Garmin has always put out quality products in my opinion. That being said, for it's features, the price should be a little lower. There are comparable GPS's units that offer more for the same price....

This unit so far has been very nice. I have tested it on a couple of short routes, and it has performed very nicely. The maps are up to date, and will stay up to date for free. It is very easy to read, and see where you are

Sometimes the screen is a little unresponsive. I have gotten lost in a couple of menus trying to change things. I wish it had bluetooth capability
