Came with everything I needed to get started in the box and is really easy to input destinations. It's really fast at calculating routes, and the instructions easy to understand.

After buying the Garmin 245 I have used it in various locations and have had a more relaxed driving experience knowing that I have directional support to my destination.As a further benefit my M.P.G.has increased and I treat this as an added bonus.

Works fine BUT the oral instructions are not sufficiently clear - eg "Turn right" may come too early or too late and has caused me to go round in circles several times.

Got to say so far so good going to try europe in three weeks, but at £70=00 it seems like a very good buy.

This product was advertised as a 245WT and yet when it arrived I couldn't see any way of getting the traffic updates, and I had a couple of other questions/problems, so here's what I emailed to AVIDES:

1) The outside of the box says it's a Nuvi 245WT, but the sat nav itself just says 245W, have I got the wrong one?

Garmin Nuvi 245 UK is very excellent sat nav. It has lot of interesting features.
