Garmin Nuvi 2460LMT

While the screen on this navigation GPS is large, it is not as maneuverable as comparable products. Also, some users will want more 3D graphics. But our overall impression of the Garmin Nuvi 2460LMT is good. It comes with a host of great Garmin...

The large screen means it's easy to follow your maps

This unit lacks 3D graphics, which may be a drawback for some users

Lifetime traffic and map updates make this a pretty good pick for many users.

Nice except the high price & lifetime traffic gimmick

I spent a lot of time shopping for a new GPS navigation device during November and December 2010. I read many reviews here and elsewhere, read downloaded user manuals, and bought and returned two other units before settling on the Garmin Nuvi 2460 LMT....

Very good quality and loud enough to be heard when driving ; Display is excellent, very bright and crisp ; Navigation functions work well ; Voice command works surprisingly well

Start-up time is very long. It takes close to a minute to load the maps and be ready to navigate

Overall a solid unit with lots of neat features that I have't even talked about and is a great value when you at other GPS units.

Voice activation is a nice feature. It reccognizes my commands and makes it easy to enter addresses and favorites without typing. Loud speaker is also nice when I am listening to music. The unit is quick to activate and pick up satellites. Trip routeing i
