Garmin nuvi 30

The Garmin nüvi 30 is the only 3.5” navigator in Garmin's new 2012 Essential series. The models in this series are meant to be basic navigators at a budget price, lower than what we've previously seen for Garmin entry-level models. And even though this...

Small and convenient

Great to use in a small car or on a bicycle or hand-held. Limited use in a large vehicle where the distance between the driver and the device makes the small screen size an issue.

Simple to use, although I had to do an update on the device before I could use it as it thoughts they gps was disabled and I had no way to reenable it until after the update ; Various spoken languages

You have to use your fingernails to ensure that it senses your touch

It seriously needs an eco mode which allows you to keep track of gas consumption.I like evrything else about it so far.Have not had a chance to see how well the lane assist works.Even my cheappie 1100 has that feature.Having said that,I would recommend...

Disappointed in Updates

Love the Garmin for ease of use and it gets me where I'm going but the easy updates on lifetime maps don't work. The first time I tried to update, I finally had to call the company and the technician had to walk me through lots of extra steps on my...

Very User Friendly

This GPS was smaller than I was picturing, but the screen is still large enough to clearly see the menu options and directions. Haven't used it a whole lot, but it looks very user friendly and easy to navigate. I know Garmin is the best in GPSs, so I...
