CNET lied - Nuvi 855 has NO built in FM transmitter!!

Did the writer Rick Broida even use this model? I am so irritated right now that I jumped on the $98 offer. The manual clearly states receiver is included in the 865 package and is an OPTIONAL accessory for the nuvi 855. The caption from the CNET...

Satisfied (..so far.)

Being my first GPS unit I can't compare it to others. I like the features especially the voice recognition, and ability to sort up to ten destinations in a single route. I'm very satisfied for the moment with its functions and reliability.

Everything, fast satellite acquisition, reliable instructions

Doesn't include free traffic updates and blue-tooth, like the 265wt. Instructions voice volume could be higher, and like most electronics it doesn't like the heat (it froze when I put it inside a small car compartment)

If it would work, I might like it really well.

Garmin continues to give me the run around. Download this, download that, nothing works. If you call, they tell you they are experiencing heavy calling. Call back another time. It is that way every time. Having to do everything by email. I only get one...

It will not stay on long enough before freezing up and stopping to find something wonderful

I wish I would have done a little more research. I have a nuvi 350 and it has been great. Just wanted to upgrade

The map detail on this 855 GPS is far inferrior to two other five year old GPS's that I own. You have to go to point 8 miles resolution to get anything except wavy road lines. My other GPS's lists cities and crossroads at 5 miles resolution. The maps...
