Garmin nuvi 1370T

In the end, the Garmin nuvi 1370T GPS is seemingly a premium navigation system that comes with a high price tag. Because there are many other cost-effective models with just as many or more features, we recommend that you compare similar systems prior...

Advanced- new features like ecoRoute, Pedestrian Mode, and morePremium- includes Bluetooth, lifetime traffic updates, and photo navigationExtended- especially great for travelers since it includes full maps of Europe

Expensive- difficult to justify the price tagInconclusive- competing models offer more or similar features for lower price

Garmin nuvi 1370T

UPDATE: A newer trans-Atlantic navigator, the Garmin nuvi 2370LT has been introduced. The Garmin nüvi 1370T is Garmin's latest transatlantic navigator, with pre-loaded maps of the US, Canada and Europe. All of the new units in the 1200, 1300 and 1400...

As with the entire nuvi series, I expect that most buyers will be quite happy with the 1370T. If the ability to use CityXplorer maps' pedestrian and mass transit features is not important to you, you may want to consider the nuvi 775T, which has a...

Review: Garmin Nuvi 1370T GPS

If you're a frequent pond jumper, Garmin's nüvi 1370T (with maps of North America and that place across the pond called Europe) is a GPS device worth considering.

The nüvi 1370T is part of Garmin's T series of thin and light GPS devices. The sleek, attractive, black GPS unit is 0.6 inches thick, about 0.02 inches less than some other Garmin models, and it weighs 5.7 ounces. That doesn't sound like much, but...

Garmin Nuvi 1370T review

It's lightweight, it has a crisp 4.3in touchscreen, and it offers plenty of features. On the flip side, the Garmin Nuvi 1370T is lacking a few essentials, it can be slow to pick up a satellite signal, and it doesn't offer much useful points-of-interest...

If you travel frequently between North America and Europe and you often find yourself in unfamiliar areas, the Garmin Nuvi 1370T might be the GPS device for you, if you don't mind some compromises.

Pretty nice deal for Europe and NA maps...

I had always wanted useful Canada and Europe maps, and this device delivers those pretty inexpensively. I don't expect to use the bluetooth capability, but it's nice to know it's there. Only 2 disappointments with this - short battery life (maybe 2...

I like it!

This GPS replaces a Garmin NUVI that only broke from where the cord plugged in. I am a big fan of the ease of use and the mapping software. It is most realistic and auto zooms in and out to let you see intersections and everything you may need to.

Good Tuscan Travel Companion!

The Garmin Nuvi 1370T made navigating the twisting Tuscan roads and arriving at obscure destinations feasible! The pedestrian feature was also invaluable in Rome. A few minor gliches: Chianti (our name for the navigator) has a worse Italian accent than...
