Garmin Oregon 450 Handheld GPS Navigator

I'm really glad I spent the money for this GPS. It's easy to use and small enough to fit in a pocket.

This is my 4th GPS and by far my favorite. It has features that make geocaching much more fun and the reaction speed is great

The backlight isn't the best, but I haven't had any real problems with seeing the screen

Love the GPS, but also must comment on quick delivery by PCNation. Received the GPS in time for my trip and was not charged extra shipping fee.

Easy to use, very portable, but large enough screen to use in a car

Screen can be a bit dim in bright sunlight

Oregon 450 is probably good for hiking, but don't buy it to use on a bicycle as it is impossible to see the screen in the sun.

Well built, sturdy and easy to use once you figure out the documentation

Main problem is that screen is difficult (or impossible) to read in the sun. I have the GPS mounted on bike handle bar and it can't be read most of the time. Have to rely on audible signals from a Route that I have set-up prior to the bike ride....
