Works as promised

 

I bought this thing mainly because of the price and because another reviewer said it was simple enough for his wife to operate.

The mapping software works better than earlier products I've used, but it's still a bit moronic.

Better that factory GPS!!

 

Very accurate, fast satellite acquisition, fast recalculation, voice guidance is clear and with good volume, I was a little bit worried about the size of the screen but that is no problem at all, custom POI in a nice addition, you can add a stops along...

Map version (V8) is out of date, does not show a major highway change in my area and needs to be updated, but this is a software issue.

Size makes this extremely portable, speaker is loud and upgrading firmware was a snap.

can be a bit slow unless you narrow your search.
