Fantastic for TM-D710A

I bought this unit after I read the other review about using it with a TM-D710A. This unit works superbly, and acquires FAST. Really fast. All you need to do is provide it with 5V and hook up the serial lines to the radio's 3/32" GPS cable, and you're...

Worked Great for Me

I bought this little guy to use with my Kenwood TM-D710A dual band ham radio. After cutting off the PS2 connector and soldering on a 1/8" headphone connector (and wiring up a 5V regulator in my car) I was good to go. This thing draws so little current,...

Needed" the correct time

Having built a Nixie clock, very old school displays with a very modern control system, was a little disappointed, but not surprised, that using its own crystal controlled time base the clock consistently gained slightly. Two choices - either regularly...

Unable to use. Not Compatiable.

I bought it to connect to my GPS car radio. Did not work. I tried adaptors with no results. My bad maybe not enough research. Product may work but not with my radio. I pay a Stupid Tax. Brand new item in the packaging delivered on time.

Installed but not up and running yet

I purchased this item for use in an aircraft application. Seems very well made, solid, high quality. Haven't flown yet so can't say if it works or not but I have great confidence based on other reviews.

Amateur radio use

Good sensitivity, better than many other units. Works well in amateur radio APRS service. Does not have RF interference from 2-Meter band radio energy. Works very well.

ripped it apart

I got this unit because it was recommended for a Nikon GPS project. The instructions required this puck to be ripped up and the working innards to be relocated to a tiny project box along with Nikon's MC35 cable innards. I am happy to report that this...
