GolfBuddy World Platinum GPS Rangefinder

I bought a world Golf buddy world platinum from American Golf Discount , and since using it fails to recognise the holes as you advance in the course. even in the courses that are fully mapped , the targets fails to appear in few holes. This was brougfht to the notice of customer service ,who give s standard reply that the course is not fully mapped.I bought it only 4 weeks ago and I am very dissapointed with the product and poor customer services. I will not recommend it to any body, as there are other more reliable products.

I bought this device hoping to replace the sky caddy. It is absolutely the worse yardage device I have ever used. It has stuff going on that is not in the manual. The yardage was off by almost 10 yards on most holes. Don't waste your money.

Best value for a GPS unit. Works great and has improved my game especially on final approach shots. Help too with the off line drives. Love it

I bought a golfbuddy world on amazon 3 months ago. Download the G3Mac manager for synchronizing the device. It worked well until 15 days ago for last update. Since then no more syncing., the devise is not recognized by the mac osx mountain lion...

Overall I like the unit. Likely due to the battery technology, the viewing screen is weak and difficult to see in the daylight. The lower left button does assist in better viewing, thus tolerable. There is no good owners manual provided with the unit....

The golf buddy works well; seems very accurate. The ad says a charge lasts 18 hours; not true, last for only two rounds, approx. 8 hours, then has to be charged again.

I bought this as a gift for my husband. He had a Sky Caddie and had nothing but trouble and finally put it in the drawer. He loves his Golf Buddy. It basically comes ready to use and very easy for someone who is not a gaget genius.
