Large display, simple interface and map screen, Where Am I help menu, FM transmitter, Australian text-to-speech voice
No internal battery, no Bluetooth, unorthodox address input method, sluggish start-up time
We really like the nuvi 5000's large screen, but the lack of Bluetooth and an internal battery will undoubtedly turn potential users elsewhere. It's a shame, as the navigational experience is otherwise excellent.

Design, large display, "gliding" touch screen interface, keyword search method, text-to-speech pronunciation, clear map screen, Bluetooth
Touch-sensitive menu key isn't always responsive, glide interface can be annoying while driving, traffic channel antenna is an optional extra
Although the S150 doesn't have all of the features of its more expensive sibling, Bluetooth hands-free remains, as does the excellent navigational experience.

Design, large display, "gliding" touch-screen interface, keyword search method, text-to-speech pronunciation, clear map screen, Bluetooth, built-in traffic channel access
Touch-sensitive menu key isn't always responsive, glide interface can be annoying while driving
The S300T is Navman's best GPS yet. While the glide interface isn't perfect, its ease of use is certainly appreciated. An excellent design, a clean map screen and clear voice instructions combined with a heap of extra features make this an excellent ...

Inexpensive, external antenna connection
Limited memory, slow performance, no direct USB connectivity, no electronic compass
Though a relatively cheap price point is sure to entice, several gaps in functionality make the GPSMAP 76 somewhat undesirable. It is functional if PC connectivity isn't paramount, but for the most part it's worth paying more for the extra features.

Huge potential for upgrades, wide range of features, flexibility of a regular PC
Expensive, many features aren't all that useful in the car
Like its bigger brother, the Azentek CPC-1100 is an impressive unit on the whole, but its premium price tag means it will be out of reach for most people. Differing only in screen and unit size from its sibling, the single-DIN CPC-1100 will again set ...

No AC charger included, No EPT, voice address input is hit and miss
TomTom's latest addition to the navigation market continues the company's fine form when it comes to the user experience. The GO 730 adds some excellent software features to a package that we've come to know and love.

Coastal maps, microSD slot, rugged casing, wireless sharing function
Suitable only for a small audience, Garmin doesn't provide similarly priced options for land-based recreation
The Oregon 400c is a reasonably priced option if you need detailed coastal maps. The inclusion of a microSD slot provides adequate room for expansion.

Design, redesigned map and menu layout, text-to-speech, NavPix
No split-screen map, chunky window mount, delays when typing an address, no Bluetooth, no TMC antenna included
As an entry-level unit the Moov 300 is a solid GPS device and an ideal choice if you happen to be on a budget. It may lack the bells and whistles of its more expensive counterparts, but it nonetheless provides a reasonable navigational experience.

Design, redesigned map and menu layout, text-to-speech, Bluetooth hands-free, 3-D landmarks
No live traffic updates, no split-screen map, chunky window mount, delays when typing an address, issues with Bluetooth pairing
The Moov 360 is a similar unit to its big brother, but without traffic capabilities. If you are hell-bent on traffic updates, then go for the 370. If not, then there is plenty to like about this unit.
