I got this to hang off the back of my little pond pontoon boat. I connect it to the trolling motor battery. It's great. I can find the channel and see fish below me.

Super easy to use, just turn on. Unit picks out individual fish with its depth and size. Shows bottom structure in detail. Light weight, easy to transport. LCD display fairly clear in the bright sun. Could be easier to tilt up for moving across lake....
