Kenwood joins the ranks of Pioneer , Eclipse , and Panasonic with the release of its DNX7100 all-in-one media receiver and GPS navigation device. A double-DIN-size in-dash system with a 7-inch touch screen display, the DNX7100 is an integrated version...

The Kenwood DNX7100 has an attractive design and an excellent as-standard navigation system. It can support a wide range of media formats, and we particularly like its USB capability and crisp video playback.

Like other Kenwood systems we've seen, the DNX7100 suffers from woefully ham-fisted media-selection interface, beginning with its dire source menu.

With a built-in navigation system and a decent range of media playback options, the Kenwood DNX7100 cannot be faulted for its breadth of features, but the system is let down by its counterintuitive media-selection interface.

The dnx7100 has it all...I won't leave a lengthy review as all the pros have been covered by previous reviewers. On the other hand though I did want to touch on the complaint about the over use by kenwood of menus. I think there are a lot of menus for...

picture quality, garmin navigation, blue tooth, and ipod connection

honestly haven't seen any cons

This unit is magnificent! First thing- most in-dash navigation units require a dvd-rom disc that has the mapping data on it, what this means is that if you have a disc in the DVD/CD slot, you must remove the disc, insert the dvd-rom software, input...

This unit has all the bells and whistles, it has the ultimate navigation software with Garmin. It's Ipod Ready, Satellite Radio Ready, HD Radio Ready, and Bluetooth Ready. It has 3 pre-amp outputs, a usb connection for Ipod or thumb drive connectivit

The only con I can see so far is that this unit does not have an Auxiliary Input, so for you Zune owners or Samsung MP3 or off brand MP3 owners you can not connect you unit to this, unless you can connect it through the USB, but highly doubtable

I had the unit installed this weekend, got the base unit, the IPOD connector, the blue tooth, and the XM Radio with traffic and weather. I couldn't be more happier! Very easy to use, added locations all weekend long while driving, the navigator works...

Great nav system, ease of use, bluetooth, IPOD, XM

Can't watch DVD's unless car is parked and emergency brake is on
