Clunky Nav Tool Rugged Enough, but Obtuse Maps Don'...

Our reaction on opening the box: Ew! But like a pug, the iFinder is so ugly, it's almost cute. Unfortunately, the performance is less lovable. Proprietary

High-contrast, multi-colored screen. Survived 5- and 10-foot drops, and even repeated dunkings

FreedomMaps deny you the freedom of detail; we have never seen a more half-baked topo maps. Bulky and inconvenient to carry. Device alerts you to marked waypoints with shrill, panic-inducing alarms

Good at what it is, a basic charting GPS. Owned 3yr

Great for what it is, a limited charting GPS for boating use in conjunction with the use of paper charts. Bouy position accuracy is very good as is shoreline accuracy. NOT a full function charting GPS but fills the gap of low cost limited charting...

Small, lightweight, EXCEPTIONAL battery life. while it's speed and screen readability aren't great it does a good job at providing basic charting and bouy info for the boater. I use it for wilderness canoeing & sailing the Great Lakes & E Coast

NOT a full function charting GPS for boating. Must be used in conjunction with paper charts for boating. NOT a highway GPS imo and not even sure it would make a good hiking GPS
