Horrible experience.

 

Stay away from this brand.

Big screen and blootooth.

Sometimes is so slow and you have to make many U-turns because it take too much time to catch the route. They ontly give one map update per life. The price of an actual update is more than the cost of the GPS.

Very fast, I own a Garmin which is extremely slow, this one is instant, good price .

Good GPS!

 

I have an old navigon 2100 that I purchased in 2007. This is my first upgrade since it. I think the navigon has better graphics, but that older unit took 2-3 minutes to acquire when starting up.

Nice unit for under $50. Hasn't gotten me lost yet!

Nothing really, good GPS.

BEWARE!

 

DONT BUY THIS

Great when it works

BEWARE. Magellan said it was warrantied for 90 days but after a convoluted return procedure and much wasted time, they are telling me that the unit is no longer warrantied. I spoke with a supervior and they finally warrentied the item. What a waste of...

Excellent Value

 

Did as the instructions directed, and charged it up for at least 4 hours before attempting to turn it on for the first time, and no problems..... Opportunity for problems if you do not read the instructions first.....

Right "size", all the "bells and Whistles" you'd expect, good visibility in light or no light, accessories function well, unit looks and functions like new........

Still new, was a Christmas present, will update at a later date.....

Garbage

 

Save yourself a headache and don't get a refurbished product. I was excited to get this GPS, as I had one in the past and loved it, until it got stolen. This GPS worked the first time I used it, but it seemed like the cord was not sitting in the device...

Good purchase

 

I'm very impressed. I'm happy with the GPS.

It works well! It was really cheap. It has lifetime map updates.

The website for Magellan was under maintenance, so I couldn't update the maps for a week.

Factory Reconditioned - WHAT?

 

I bought this unit as factory reconditioned assuming that this meant "as good as new". What I believe happened is that the unit was returned for the same reason I will be returning it - no repairs or reconditioning had been performed. Unless there was...

Overall it seems like it could be a nice unit when the audio is off.

No quality control with the reconditioned aspect of this unit. Before every audio announcement there is a startling "squawk" of distortion. When the volume was high it scared me to death - not something I find useful while driving.
