Wish I'd chosen a different brand

Chose this unit after checking the reviews - it was highly rated so I went ahead and bought it. Initial setup went easily enough and the unit worked well. First sign of problems came when I received a letter informing me that an upgrade was available.

Nice voice, fairly intuitive operation

Unreliable, failure prone, substandard support

Fearless driving at last!

I bought mine for 4 reasons: (1) road signage in Wisconsin is awful; (2) I get very anxious when I get lost; (3) the price has dropped down to around $300; and (4) most of the reviews have been very positive.

Reasonable price, user-friendly, good tech support, accurate directions, built-in

Needs more point-of-interest categories

They say "Turn it on and go!" ... They're right

Multiple destinations would be nice, and ability to quickly find points of interest while

$10 Road Atlas or $1200 gadget? UPDATE!

Logical questions to ask before dropping a bit over a grand for an electronic gizmo to essentially replace a $10 map are: "Will this thing do what I expect it to do?" and "Is the technology involved reliable, and worth the additional money compared to...

Easy to use, good ergonomics, useful gadget/toy. Cutting edge

Poor instruction/troubleshooting manual. Lots of undocumented features
