Great GPS to wreck your RV

Positive: Really big screen. Neg: Everything else! Setup for 15K 42'L 13'H 5thWheel. It tried to route me through a known propane restricted zone, then tried to route me through a low bridge (11' clearance). Maps are current, restrictions both in-place...

Really big screen

Doesn't perform as promised - could cause damage to RV

this is perfect for rv ers.

I'm retired and I am about to start traveling a lot. This GPS allows you to input your rv specks and incorporates that info into the route. No more low bridges and roads to nowhere. I look forward to using it a lot. If you are a Garmin user it takes a...

So far, not impressed

After a week of learning the unit it takes me on routes with bridges at 10' when the RV is set to 12' and the speed limit display and warning doesn't work. Not sure of the traffic feature yet but during a planned trip I've been slowed down in traffic...

So far, not impressed

I spent a lot of money for a GPS that so far isn't any better than a $150 unit with a big screen. After a week of learning the unit it takes me on routes with bridges at 10' when the RV is set to 12' and the speed limit display and warning doesn't...

Magellan RoadMate RV9165T-LM 7-inch GPS

Works great. Froze up once but never again. I like that I can upgrade the maps for a lifetime. Size is real good and easy to read. Glad I got it.

Big - BIG!

The first thing you'll note on opening this GPS is the size. At 7" it's not far off the iPad for screen real estate. In an RV (I have a smallish motorhome) this extra size is important as the GPS is much further away from me than it would be in a car...

Perfect for RV Users since most brands aren't made specifically for RV use.

PROS: Great lookin and I love the size of the screen. Lots of information I especially like the capability of entering the size of my coach. This past week we use the GPS for a trip that took me through Upstate New York. The GPS guided me through the...
