The Magellan SmartGPS 5390 has good functionality overall. However, its difficult-to-use interface makes it more complicated to operate than some of its competitors. If you can get past the troublesome interface, the device –with its smartphone...

It uses a connection with your smartphone to post restaurant reviews, gas prices, weather updates and more directly on the screen.

It lacks voice-recognition software, so you’ll have to type in information manually.

The device is complicated to use and can’t take verbal commands, but it still has powerful navigational capabilities.

The Magellan SmartGPS 5390 has exceptional functionality. It can be a bit more complicated to operate than some of its competitors, but it is still one of the best navigation GPS units on the market.

It uses a connection with your smartphone to post restaurant reviews, gas prices, weather and more directly on the GPS screen.

It lacks voice recognition software.

This device is a bit complicated to use and can't take verbal commands, but it still has exceptional capabilities.
