Don't trust your life with this unit.

None over others

This unit loses waypoints and landmarks without notice. I discovered this in the mountains of Colorado. Since it is 15 months old, Magellan told me "tough luck

Good features, good price, NOT WATERPROOF!

It's got good features and works well for it's price. Appeared to be a good deal for an entry-level GPS

Mine was NOT WATERPROOF as advertised to its specs. I used it on a rainy backcountry trip, and even though I had it properly sealed, it leaked water inside the unit and ruined it. I'm shopping for a new GPS unit right now
