bad design and bad customer service

I didn't buy this through Amazon, although that has nothing to do with the product faults. The amount of problems I've had in the 18 months of ownership hasn't been worth the price. - frozen screen. - the lock screen option never worked - the buttons...

If you must buy one then please read this

If you need a gps that interacts directly with OS 50 & 25k maps this is the one . . . . BUT my advice is that when you take delivery test the device and test it again and again. Then access the support part of the memory map site and if you find...

Very disappointing

Bought on the basis that I had a number of MMs on my computer I've had a 3500 for more than 18 months and have always struggled with it despite upgrades. The final straw was the lack of Spanish maps so I bought a Satmap. A far better product, in my...

Adventurer 2800 review

Bought this item on the basis that it was "ready to go" but in fact you had to go through a rather elaborate procedure that required the help of there " help desk" to get it registered on line. The person I got was surly and unhelpful. Eventually got...

memory map 2800

What people say about the user friendlyness of the 2800 is correct there's no proper instructions with it. But once you get past that its a great gps. Locks on in seconds the OS map is excellent. Working out how to download Geocaching info took a while...

Dissapointed

I bought this to protect the memory map when on a bike but the cover will nor fit when using a bike fitting, so is of no use. It would have been Ideal if it had fitted as it would have made the memory map more water resistant and shockproof.
