Mio DigiWalker C310x Personal GPS Navigation Device Review

The Mio DigiWalker C310x, an update of the C310 model, is Mioâ'"s entry-level navigation device. Itâ'"s a pocket size device (4″ x 3″ x 0.7″) which at six ounces isnâ'"t going to weigh you down. Despite being an entry level device, the Mio C310x does...

MIO C310

The MIO DigiWalker C310 is the second product in the company's current range of dedicated in-car GPS units. Designed as an entry level model, the C310...

External controls, Display, Maps, Clear voice instructions, Bluetooth hands-free

Stubborn window mount, Menu system, Soft voice levels, Small on-screen keyboard, Suburbs not filtered by state

The C310 is an entry level model that is reasonably well priced for what it offers. First time users may take a while to grasp the bells and whistles of navigation, but otherwise, this is a solid unit.

Mio C310 DigiWalker

As an entry level machine, the Mio C310 works well and comes packaged with all the accessories you need, but be sure to practice on known routes until you get the hang of how to program where you want to go.

Includes latest Sensis map data for 2006 ; Repeats instructions several times with plenty of time to ensure you know where you're going ; Syncs with Outlook to easily download contacts

Instruction booklet isn't that great for first-time GPS users ; MP3 player only plays MP3 files ; Sound is not good enough on its own for road trips

For an entry-level product undoubtedly aimed at first time users, the instruction booklet is not comprehensive and a lot was left to trial and error. First-time GPS users would probably find the MioMap difficult to operate initially -- especially when...

SiRF-III GPS antenna, Nice screen, very portable size, MioMap/I-Go Navigation Software.

No A/C charger, but it does come with a car charger and will charge through the USB cable when connected to your computer.
