Navman: a poor choice - technical support is non-existent

I purchased a Navman iCN 750.  It worked for a while. Then it lost track of its maps.   Navman's tech support people appeared not to care.  They promised to call back, never did.  Promised a manager would call back.  Never did.  Sent me emails of how...

It usually got me from here to there.  It was sort of thin

Tech support failed to get my unit working. Total loss

Drop in price makes the ICN 750 a fair deal!

The Navman ICN 750 came out a few years ago with a huge price tag of $699.00. With a 4 inch screen and a 4 gig hard disk which included pre loaded maps, $699.00 was still a steep price to pay compared to the other manufacturers like Tom Tom and Garmin....

quick to fix a gps signal, accurate maps, easy menu

Huge and bulky, mounting system is quirky

navman icn 750

I brought this sat nav system as it advertised speed camera warnings on the box. What it did not say was that you will have to pay a yearly subscription for this service. However, it is very easy to use straight from the box and the back on track...

Very easy to use. Nice large screen. Excellent map coverage

Manual could be better. Extra subscription cost for speed camera warnings not made clear
