Mio Spirit 685 review

Unlike most budget satnavs, the Spirit 685 has a large 5in resistive touchscreen. Its resolution is no higher than the standard 480x272 resolution, but everything is much larger and more easily readable.

At this price, we can forgive the 685's flaws. It's easy to use and has a larger than average screen

A sat-nav with a 5in screen for £110? Surely there's been some mistake?

5in screen ; Keen price ; RDS-TMC traffic updates

Build quality inferior to TomTom and Garmin ; Build quality inferior to TomTom’s and Garmin's

The Mio Spirit 685 doesn’t feel quite so solidly built as TomTom or Garmin’s device. But it is phenomenally good value. You would normally expect a sat-nav with this range of features to set you back closer to £200, but Mio has managed to pull it off...

best sat nav so far!

much better than my last basic one...and fully recommend this one. Very easy to use. Only had it one week and its taken me way for a few days and brought me back again. Excellent 3D on motorway junctions....saves me going off in the wrong direction!

Brilliant Sat Nav

This one is easy to use, no patronising voice and saved us from traffic jams, what more do you want. Looking forward to trying it out abroad soon.

This is a Great SAT NAV ....

I have only had mine for a short time but in that time it has taken me to the midlands and back without any probs at all. I would have no prob buying another in the future if this keeps working the way it is now. Key point for me is a little reminder...
