Navig8r i43 i50 model failures

 

I have owned an i43 and two i50 Navig8r models. All three failed soon after 1 year warranty expired. Sometimes a reload of the software fixed the problem for a month or so after that the units would not function. A pity, the map on after power up...

My new GPS.

 

I am very happy with the purchase of my new Nav I50. It attaches to the window really easily and is able to be detached quickly. Has lots of viewing positions. Love that the roads are announced before you get to them unlike my other one. Great value...

This little marvel, speaks the name of the streets before getting to them. Turns off when you turn off the ignition and automatically turns back on at start up.

Cant seem to up date maps on line. Some of the speed limits out of date.

Navig8r I50 started of as a great product read and followed the instructions and it worked fine for nearly 12 months. Speed and alerts are an asset and the large screen easy to see and use. Once you are under trip guidance if you take more than three...

Inexpensive and a large screen

Stopped working on numerous occasions until it has failed altogether.

Never lost Or fined for speeding

 

I50 NAVIG8R a great product I found it easy to use much better than old unit, speed & school alerts are spot on it even gets the school times right, setting up is a breeze & getting upgrades is quite easy. Road information seems to be very good as well...

Much grief

 

Works OK in basic mode. So far I have had a 100% trip guidance failure rate when using the VIA (waypoint) section, where you name various points on the way to a final destination. Every time it has become very confused and once tried to drive me into...

Good loud speaker with no distortion. Mount to windscreen is good. Use manual reasonable
