Navigon 70 Premium and Navigon traffic review

How does Navigon's high-end GPS and traffic service compare to others available in South Africa?

The Navigon 70 Premium is a competent GPS navigation device whose motion sensor activated interface and search integrated on-screen keyboard makes for a good user experience.

Navigon 70 Premium Live review

Navigon's earlier attempts at a Live service product were somewhat undermined by the fact that the technology was integrated into a clumsy external module, so can the next gen 70 Premium Live offer any improvements?

Out on the road the spoken text-to-speech guidance was clear and easy to follow. The map display is joined by a rather nifty proximity sensor, allowing us to hover our hand near the screen to bring up additional boxouts (i.e. settings options).

Had been delaying buying a SatNav until I could get a quick, future-proof SatNav (that would work with Galileo & GPS systems) with a 5" screen and instructions that went "In 400 yards...". The two-channel Bluetooth was the icing on the cake. This...

Unfortunately, I may have been a bit unlucky? On day two I noticed a few dead pixels. Luck doesn't come in to the next bit - my HTC Desire would not connect with the Bluetooth. On day four, it refused to start, hanging at what I'll call the POST...
