Consumer review (productreview.com.au)

Good

The unit is a very compact and easy to use. The newer versions would be worth considering as the last 5 years have been relatively good with my unit.

Very clear voices. Good selection of personalisation options. I like the favourites listing. Very easy to use.

My Navman is starting to age, as I got it in 2006. With age comes a few problems. It doesn't like to operate for more than 5 minutes if it is not plugged into the car adaptor, which isn't really that bad unless you can't find the charger. It also...

OK

Thing is, I probably won't spend the time or money on contacting Navman because from reading the other reviews above, it's probably cheaper and less effort to just buy a new one. Maybe that's the point. Overall, if you wwant a cheap, easy, functional...

Easy to use, clear voice directions, good value for money.

Erm, I should probably add to my previous review and say that it died on us over the weekend, after only 18 months. It's one of the cheaper models, but you don't expect it to die so soon.

Consumer review (productreview.com.au)

OK

I must admit, I don't have much to compare it to because it's my first GPS. That being said, my dad has a basic Tomtom and it's horrible compared to our Navman - hard to use, loses signal more, etc. All in all, I'm not blown away, but I think we only...

Clear voice directions, fairly easy to use.

Sometimes gets stuck searching for a signal, sometimes chooses very strange routes. Keeps flashing warning messages about road tolls, and when you press "ok" it flashes them again. Maps are expensive - I may as well buy a whole new Satnav.

Terrible

Navman do not support their customers and therefore do not need them. My advice is buy a Tom Tom or similar but not a Navman

Easy to use

Very poor customer service from company, no instructions on how to update maps, Map updates are expensive, battery life pathetic.

Terrible

Took unit to JB-HIFI Modbury on 29th Nov 2008- Very poor saff assistance. Cant fix unit, dont know where to send it for repair, throw it away.A unit costing nearly $500 throw it away!! I will never shop at JB-HIFI Modbury SA, or buy a Navman. CRAP !!!

purchased unit as a friend has one . stated it was good.Good size.

Paid $489- in April 2007- now does not work.JB-HIFI said throw it away.

Consumer review (productreview.com.au)

OK

Would be cheaper to buy a new Sat Nav every couple of years, than fork out big money for update every 12 months.

Easy to use, a great help when on holiday & for work purposes.

A bit slow in picking up a wrong turn & re-calculating. Needed update ($190) just 12 months later.

Consumer review (productreview.com.au)

Bad

Waste of time buying due to limited time period before an update is required. Makes outlay over the year of purchase as nearly $700.00.

Easy to use, very clear

Useless after a few months as you have to update and the map update prices are far to expensive at $179.00.

Consumer review (productreview.com.au)

Good

Good GPS, maps are too expensive to get latest maps, more than buying a new GPS from a no name brand gps. Wouldn't buy a NAVMAN until the maps get better in price. $179 here in Aust and only $100 if you buy in UK, you figure.

Easy to use. Mounted to vehicle easily

Maps for updates are ridiculously priced. Bit slow to get back on track when you miss a turn.

Consumer review (productreview.com.au)

Good

For the price of this small little unit, it does the job without hassle. If the unit comes with a safety camera feature, it would be 10 out of 10.

Navman F10: Small and easy to handle

Doesn't have a safety camera info
