Navman iCN 750

More than a gimmick, Navman's newest GPS device features a camera to make navigation as easy as point, click, and drive.

Built-in camera for navigation • Accurate directions • Big touchscreen with 3D maps • Plenty of memory

No Bluetooth or traffic updates • Doesn't play MP3s

Navman iCN750

Many GPS manufacturers have been scrambling to add features to their portable navigation devices hoping to pry the plastic out of consumers' wallets. Rather than adding an MP3 player, a Bluetooth phone interface, or a video player, Navman chose to...

Easy to use. Very sensitive GPS receiver. NavPix technology lets you navigate to a picture that's linked to a destination. Extensive, relatively up-to-date POI database.

Reflective screen shows fingerprints and smudges. Low-resolution camera. Relatively expensive for the included feature set.

Unless you find the NavPix feature compelling, there are other more fully featured GPSs available for the same price.

Navman iCN 750

The Navman iCN 750 has a 1.3-megapixel camera that lets you create photo-based points of interest and comes preloaded with maps of North America.

The Navman iCN 750's is a bit sluggish to perform tasks and its interface isn't always intuitive. The screen is also hard to see in bright sunlight.

Though a bit sluggish, the Navman iCN 750 is an innovative image-based navigation system, offering an integrated camera and accurate driving directions.

Navman iCN 750 GPS Camera and Car Navigation Device with NavPix

Navman call it a camera but, it's also a fully featured car navigation device. Notable features of the newly announced Navman iCN 750 GPS camera are the 1.3 megapixel camera of course, a high-resolution 4â' WQVGA (480272) widescreen display, the latest...

Navman iCN 750 In-Car Navigation System

(sponsor) INTRODUCTION It's a bit tough to find innovation among the sea of in-car GPS devices making their way to the market. At the core, they all

The first GPS to integrate a camera ; Internal HDD with preloaded maps ; Good quality case ; Great mount system ; Rechargeable battery ; Pretty GUI ; Crisp widescreen ; Instant access to gas and parking POI

Very reflective screen creates glare ; Pricey (but not too bad relative to other high-end GPS) ; No battery indicator ; No remote ; Performance is a bit sluggish

NavPix is a feature much like the iPod clickwheel that many companies will try to emulate in their own products soon enough. Without completely breaking the bank, Navman offers their top-of-the-line navigation solution, and without cutting corners....

"One of the good ones."

This is a very good device. The best part is the receiver. It is the most sensitive I have ever used. It will get a GPS signal inside my house! (Now I don’t live in a cave or a 40,000 Sq ft mansion, but in the middle of the house I can get a signal,...

Great screen, clear audio, one of the best, most sensitive receivers I have ever seen. Lots of pints of interest, interesting camera for photo destination record (gimmicy, but cool).

Big, poor mount. Not the best support. Basic GPS functionality, and uses exit number not names. some of the freeway exits here in LA are not numbered!

Obsolete when I bought it

Obsolete when I bought it

Really disappointing. I believe this unit was a prototype, and was rushed into production way too early. You buy it, and you are on your own. Hard to use. Missing expected features, for the price. Lots of bugs. No software updates. When you enter an...

iCN 750 Map Un-availability

iCN 750 Map Un-availability

I'd actually give this unit 5 stars, except that the promised upgraded maps were not made available in the US. When I bought the unit last year, I searched for my own home address, which is nearly 10 years old, and the subdivision road was not even on...
