It looks like last year's S30, except it's been given the latest Whereis maps and spoken street names. Unlike the S-Series Platinum models, the S35 soldiers on with the old interface, which is now shared with the Mio Moov range.

Outlook At AU$299 the S35 with standard text-to-speech is undeniably good value, however we're disappointed to see that Navman hasn't rectified the whole windshield mount/USB issue. Also, it's mightily confusing to see both Navman and Mio, both owned...

It stopped at 90% when calculating the routes which are more than 20kms, and this happened frequently. i am upset with it.

Nice little unit if it would only calculate the routes you want, my experience is not favorable with calculating some routes as the GPS stops calculating at 92% of route and will not finish the job, sometime only finding my destination when I am within...

Nice if it worked.

Both retailer and Navman support. Harvey Norman showed indifference to this problem and advised me to search online for a firmware download, getting through to Navman on customer support is very difficult.. gave up

MARKED AS SPAM BY AKISMET

neat easy to use. the screen is clear ; i dont mind the window sucker, easy to use

the voice instructions can be very confusing in multi lave situations, you must look at the screen to understand what it is voicing. I wish its voices instruction was as true as the old ICM520

I received a Navman S35 for my 50th birthday. I had parked my car in the sun and when I returned the screen was white and I have not been able to access my maps again. Has anybody out there experienced this problem

Fantastic little gadget and has been helpful. Would appreciate receiving the updated maps as promised by Navman in December 2008.

I have had it for two months and when I have parked my car in the sun for a short duration the screen has gone milky white and am not able to access my maps again.

Today my S35 decided to stay in night mode. The weather is overcast but glary, I think the daylight sensor is set too bright. Went onto Navman Tech Support website, the S35 is not listed!

Great unit. Accurate, easy to use. Lots of options. I love the fact it will locate specific POIs near your location, and guide you to them. Brilliant.

Feature packed unit at a great price ; The problem of the charger connection on the S30 has been rectified

I hate those suction cup things. They always fall off
