the self diming feature transitions nicely, and adjusts well so that you can always see it without being too bright, however is a little anoying when driving under street lights, as bightness fluctuates.

Size and that is about it

Will not operate without power source (No Battery!!!) Update to software is impossible...you have to keep going from your computer to your car. Garmin support hold time 60 min.+ and no followup or answer to email. I dumpted this and ordered a Navigon...
