Decent player

Wait until the unit boots up, then insert storage device. If storage device is present when it boots, it takes a LOT longer to recognize it. Keep in mind, this is strictly a media player - no streaming, wireless, wired, or any other network...

Small, light, good output quality, inexpensive, works

Will not play back .FLV files, despite the description on Newegg that says it will. It won't. Deducted one egg for misrepresenting that ; Don't lose the remote. You can't do anything without it

Excellent Player

For what this is, a PORTABLE media player, it works great and I have no complaints.

I bought over 30 of these for my company to distribute training materials across East Africa. They all work great ; We've used them with old CRT TVs as well as new 1080p HD Plasmas and everything looks wonderful. The menu system is fairly intuitive,...

The player it small and lightweight which is great for travel. The lightweight bit could be a con if you were looking for a more permanent setup as it can be jerked around pretty easily by the weight of the cables. It is also totally useless without...

t_i_g_e r direct doesn't have a good description on this product

OPLAY MINI cant read winXP(exFAT format) Can't use Patriot LX 64GB (sdXc) either. Hint: If you want to use a single file greater than 2GB on sd memory/flash driver, you should set the format as ntfs for Win XP ( I don't know about other computer format)

t_i_g_e r direct doesn't have a good description on this product, only showing "Included Accessories: Power adapter", whereas other websites show ; Package Contents ; OPLAY_MINI/1A/NTSC/AS ; AC Adapter ; Plug ; Remote Control ; Composite A/V Cable ;...

When I used a 64GB USB to play WAV format, sometimes, the video lagged or discontinued. But I played slide shows (with WAV format songs and photos together),it would definitely lag. If I played slideshow with photos on USB and music (WAV format) from...

Delivers what it promises!

I also bought this with fingers crossed, sure I was going to regret it. It took a little digging and some trial and error to find the correct video and subtitle settings, but once it was dialed in, this is a thing of beauty! Plug and play movies in...

Does EVERYTHING it says it will ; Easy to use

Poor/no instructions for setup ; Low volume ; Auto drive scan includes non-media files

NOT BAD!!!!!!

Very nice item, everything seems to work well. The only issue I had is that I couldn't get the volume to go very high (maybe something I was doing wrong???)

Very quick to set-up, easy to use

Couldn't get volume to go very high

So far no complaint

Very easy to setup, just hooks it up to TV via HDMI and that was it. I tried USB memory stick and SD card, both work perfect. Auto scan the memory stick and SD card to sort out all the video, audio and pictures files. Firmware upgraded to the latest...

Have not found any Cons yet. I was going to buy the Seagate player but that was no long available. This player is a perfect replacement of Seagate player

This thing is great. It plays anything you put in, it reads things almost instantly. Much better price than the WD counterparts. It doesn't do ANY streaming and has no network support, but I have an XBOX for that. Only issue is the sound, it does...

Plays EVERYTHING ; Easy to setup ; True Dolby Digital ; 1080p 24hz mode

Sound is very low on a normal tv
