Installed for one season on the motor for my dinghy. Only used sparingly on weekends and kept covered when not in use. I went to remove my dinghy for winter storage and the darn lock would not open. Tried WD40 still no go. Had to resort to a...

won't stay locked

I thought maybe I wasn't locking it properly but no matter what I do it wont catch adn stay locked over the transom screws - I will be looking for another solution - a bike cable and padlock would be better than this.

2 days after the installation motor was stolen cost me 3000 dollars,not better than a standard 5 dollar padlock michel
