The unit sort of works. It is wildly inaccurate indicating direction. The unit is fairly inexpensive, but you get what you pay for. It also takes several minutes to sync up with the satellites. I would not purchase this product again.

An excelent choice for simple gps applications. It requires no calibration and is accurate enough to find places. Takes some time to warmup but it is not a major problem.

Tracking direction indicator is not accurate, I tested it to get directions back to my house and it gave me misleading directions, it was sometimes off by 180 degrees. I wouldn't trust going hiking or boating with it.
