I have had the avic d-3 sense sept. 07 and i must say that i still thinks it`s great unit fore the price, i have the xm tuner with traffic, back up cam, blu tooth, and ipod cord, it look factory and the sound is great once u tweak the eq settings

small clock, wish it was a little bigger, but no biggie

I have to admit, after seeing CNET's Editor Review score of 3/5, I was a bit hesitant to purchase this stereo. I did some more research on it, including going to the store and spending some hands-on time of my own with the AVIC-D3. It seemed great, but...

It does just about everything you need from an AV / Navigation in-car audio deck, reasonably priced, tons of connectivity options, good user interface... plus you can change the button and background colors to match your interior

Great iPod control, however it could be improved (i.e., starting where you left off, like actual iPod navigation)

overall its great i tend to like pioneer products since they seem to last for quite some time.instructions are easy to follow and wire connection to amps plus sub are great

cool color sound is great i have it for 2 years now and it still works like a charm

if u want add on u have to buy the extra components like ipod wire plus scosche passport for new gen ipod otherwise it wont charge the ipod my navigation dvd is getting all scratch up i hate switching it back and fourth between movie disc
