Good for the price

This is a entry level unit, but is solid. I have had three GPS and while this is missing some features I liked for the most part its fine... I find I miss a flip up antenna, and bluetooth.... I will continue to test it and if I still have issues with...

Light weight, Crisp clear screen, responsive touchscreen, Volume is loud. recalculates routes

Have run into the problem where it thinks I am off road on some older highways here in Iowa. Recalculating route can be a touch slow at times, Seems to like to take me on the scenic route. Have run into two instances where it never told me to turn...

Good while it lasted

My unit worked great during the short time I had it. I updated the maps and had added a couple new voices and vehicle indicators with very little trouble once I figured out how to do it. Was even planning on doing some light geocaching with it. And...

Easy to use ; Easy to set up ; Got a free map upgrade with it since it was purchased within a map update release window

No driver disc ; No instruction manual ; Died after less than a month's use

Good Unit, Great Price

Had an issue with registering the unit with Garmin, said it was already registered. A short session with tech support resolved the issue. Updating the map software was a long process. As always, super quick shipping from newegg.

Great value for the price. Bought this for under $100 with free shipping, and it works everybit as well as my 2yr old Garmin Nuvi 350 ($400 back then). New 2010 maps are free from Garmin site within 60 days of registering unit. Great price for basic,...

Does not have the text to voice feature. Takes a little longer than the nuvi 350 to find the satellites

Very Pleased

Had no problems with the unit from day one. Went online with Garmin and registered. Downloaded the offered free 2010 update map. Also ordered the TOPO ; map set for hiking

Wish the battery would last a little longer

Do Not Buy

The unit came and the first time I turned it on it told me it had no maps available for routing. I registered the unit with Garmin and was told I had to buy a map. I will be getting an RMA and I will want my money back. I will never buy another Garmin...

Ok but ...

Might be better deals out there for a few more $$$.

Came in good condition. Looked new. Had car power adapter and mounting hdwe. Powered up and acquired sat in short time. Bright display

No home charger but if you download the full manual you find you can use one of your old mp3 microUSB connector to charge the unit on a computer USB port & also connect unit for site. Unit comes with 2008 NT North Amer map but no update...
