If you don't like seeing ads, you won't like the 3065's interface, as they're all over it when it's using traffic data. The ridiculously stiff windshield mount is nearly impossible to remove with one hand.

The Magellan RoadMate 3065 is a solid-performing GPS navigator that takes a unique approach to streamlining your commute with its Traffic Wakeup feature.

Review: Magellan RoadMate 3065

Its specialized traffic delivery ensures that you're up-to-date on the latest snarls before you start your commute.

In redesigning the RoadMate product line, Magellan decided to add live traffic updates to all of its 2000, 3000, and 5000 series of products. While you may not like the pop-up ads that are part of the deal for the free lifetime alerts, routes based on...

The mount has a slot for the USB power cable, so the unit connects to it as you slide it into the mount. This is the next best thing to a powered mount. I dislike having to fuss with a  mini-USB cable each time I get in the car, but I find this to be...

"Does the job but not as promised"

I hoped Magellan had put out a quality product here, but unfortunately it has several software glitches causing frustrations at times. The traffic feature doesn't work, the banner ads are unbelievably annoying, and the system erasing your home address...

Quick recalculation, nice looking unit, and good screen. Does basic GPS functions ok.

"Magellan 3065 is just ok."

you get for what you paid for.

Nie size, loud volume

it's not completaly update. when it turn on, it takes time to search for the signal. I wrote an address and it took me to a different location. The female voice is not too clear sometimes.

Poor quality control, buyer use caution

1st GPS: Froze, had to let the battery run out before I could re-set the GPS. 2nd GPS: Data/map loads slowly which creates a problem when driving since I missed a turn here and there. I initially had great difficulty pairing a Samsung and a LG phone....

Bells and whistles are good. I like the idea of bluetooth capability, the multi-destination routing w/route optimization, and traffic alerts

The bluetooth sound quality was poor, stopped working ; Traffic alerts are inaccurate
