Worst customer service ever! Non-updateable maps.

Don't bother...just save the money and get a well known brand.

It's Cheap and the mapping software does work well

Bluetooth rarely works, Maps were outdated out of the box and according to the rudest customer service person I have ever spoken to, you cannot and never will be able to update the maps

NO UPDATES and NO UPDATES are planned even for the 4370

After looking hard in the manual that refers to an Update CD and the Sanyo website to no avail I called the number on the front of the manual. After being told about six times (NO JOKE) in a recording to check one of the...

I have the virtually identical 4070 and it is feature packed. I bought this for my wife and it was a real asset when we moved to a different state. I just pluged in the doctor's office, Walmart, Target, and our new home location

NO UPDATES. Even on the 4370 maps are from 2007 and I am running into road changes that are not in the Sanyo 4070. I tried an update but the Sanyo 4070 website "" has no links for any updates or even support of any kind

Good performance but major drawbacks

Unit performs well as a strick navigation aid but each time you restart it, you have to set the time and date from scratch. I bought this unit primarily because of it's traffic advisory service through NACTEC which is horrible. The unit continuously...

Very accurate, navigated NYC without flaw

Battery life is terrible. Once charge depleted, it forgets all of your settings. Pay service NAVTEC is horrible

Good device for the price!

Bought the device several weeks ago and actually like it. First the bad. Battery life is sort, both working and when powered off. (I think this is a by product of the old battery inside the device). No house hold charger, but I have found that it will...

Great antenna, fast recalc, good features, great screen

Short battery life, no backup battery to keep settings, no household charger, volume button in software only

Great Deal when on sale

Bought this for $129 on sale at Fry's. At that price it is a steal! Had a lot of reservations based on reviews I read but it works very well. The fact that it has MP3 + Bluetooth capability is incredible. GPS capability works well and is accurate. My...

Excellent Value and Easy to Use

A solid, basic navigator available for just over $200 (at Staples) with outstanding wide screen display and full array of features -- basically everything except traffic information. I haven't tried the bluetooth functions as the car already has this...

Easy navigation functions, non-intrusive voice directions and re-routing, nice display, solid mounting bracket

No way found so far to disable non-essential information from tracking (non-navigation) view, a very minor issue. Instructions on transferring data via SD card is minimal

Sanyo Easy Street NVM-4050 Too Many Minuses

Forget about their claim of "...up to 7 hrs. battery life". After a full charge I get "low battery" warning after only 30 minutes of use.

Lightning fast recalculations and super-sensitive anteannae

LOW battery life, RIDICULOUS on/off switch, WRONG pronunciation, NO a/c adapter, HORRIBLE customer service

Full of feature - only on the box

Con is not over yet. I tried to look up their customer service and all I found is a 800 number on their website. Who wants to spend time to call them? They probably put a lot more effort on selling their product than customer support. To make it...

This is a unit loaded with feature. Huge screen, GPS, text-to-speach, bluetooth, media player with 2GB of storage, plus SD extension slot. Plus I got it for a black-Friday price

For some reason I couldn't get the text-to-speech work. It never read the street name, nor freeway name. Sometimes the map does not move along with my location. No music playback during navigation. I considered this problem MINER because they can be...
