Simpler, smarter navigation. That's the promise of Mio's latest range of Spirit sat-navs, represented here by the range-topping Mio Navman 575 (also known as the Mio Spirit 575).

IQ Routes ; Simple user interface ; Large widscreen display

Display resolution ; Robotic voice directions ; Limited route options

A good little satnav if you're on a tight budget, but higher priced rivals offer better value for money.

Mio Navman 575

Simple and straightforward are the watchwords for the Mio Navman 575. Sat-nav manufacturers have all reacted in their own way to the smartphone-powered cloud of doom that hangs over dedicated GPS systems, and Mio's plan is to stick to solid performance...

At this price, there was always going to be some sort of compromise and that's where the Mio Navam 575 draws the line. If you demand more, you'll have to pay for it.

Do not buy!!!!!

I had an early model Navman that I had for a number of years and I absolutely loved it. When I needed a replacement, it seemed logical to go for a more up-to-date version of what I had and liked. Big mistake. This has to be one of the worst purchases...

This machine does what it's made for. One big drawback/mischief is the so called "memorize your driving pattern" feature.It remembers mistakes then unexpectedly performs similarly.
