Honestly, the main reason I purchased this particular GPS was that it was on sale and one of the cheaper ones. However, after using it, I would recommend buying it over the Garmin. I find it to be much better to understand and operate than the Garmin...

I just purchased this item today..told the sales clerk I was looking for just a simple gps without all the unneccesary bells and whistles...and so this is what she recommended..WRONG !!!!! this thing wouldnt even let me set it up..all it does is flash...

Took it home, hooked it up to computer. It said a new map needed to be installed. Attempted to install, got "insufficient memory" error. Called tech support. They said uninstall the preloaded map then download the new map. Uninstalled preloaded map....
